What we don't stock — and why

Other Indian sellers will quietly tell you they can source signal jammers, IMSI catchers, or stalkerware. We do not, and we say so on this page so you know it before you ask. The items below are illegal, restricted, or reputationally radioactive — and our customer base benefits from us refusing them.

1 · The list

Signal jammers

What it is. Active RF transmitters that block cellular / WiFi / GPS bands

Why we don't stock it. Illegal under the Indian Telegraph Act 1885 §5 and Wireless Telegraphy Act 1933 §3. Civilian operation is banned. Even if you plan to use it on private property, you cannot — RF leakage outside your premises is criminal.

Active GSM interceptors / IMSI catchers

What it is. Devices that impersonate a cell tower to capture handset identifiers (IMSI) and traffic

Why we don't stock it. Restricted to authorised law-enforcement and military buyers under the Indian Telegraph Act and supplementary regulations. Civilian sale is illegal regardless of "research" framing.

GPS jammers

What it is. Active L1 / L2 jammers, including USB-stick form factors marketed as "anti-tracking"

Why we don't stock it. Illegal under the same statutes as signal jammers. Additionally interferes with civil aviation and emergency services.

Keystroke-injection tools marketed for unauthorised access

What it is. Devices marketed with copy that explicitly invokes unauthorised access scenarios (e.g. "credential theft", "office sabotage")

Why we don't stock it. We stock the same hardware (Rubber Ducky-class injectors) for legitimate red-team / training use. We do not stock the SKUs whose marketing copy frames them as tools for unauthorised access. This is a sourcing-side filter, not a hardware-side rule.

Spyware-as-a-service installers

What it is. Pegasus-class commercial spyware, "stalkerware" mobile installers, parental-control tools repurposed for surveillance of adults

Why we don't stock it. Civil sale is heavily restricted; export is controlled under the Wassenaar Arrangement. These are also reputationally radioactive — we will not be near them.

Drones above 250 g without UIN

What it is. Any drone > 250 g (small / medium / large / heavy class) shipped without DGCA UIN registration

Why we don't stock it. DGCA Drone Rules 2021 require UIN registration for any drone above 250 g, before delivery. We do not bypass this — UIN is filed with us at order time, and the drone leaves our warehouse only after the UIN appears in your DigiSky account.

Counterfeit OEM equipment

What it is. "Compatible" or grey-market drones, SDRs, RFID hardware sold as OEM-genuine

Why we don't stock it. We source from authorised distributors only. Catalogue-listed brand chips are real authorisations; we have the paperwork to back each one.

2 · What about "research use"?

Several of these items get pitched as "research-grade" by other sellers — a framing meant to suggest the regulatory line doesn't apply to academic or corporate research. It does. The relevant statutes carry no civilian-research exception. The exceptions that exist are for specifically licensed government / military buyers operating under controlled authorisation.

If your research genuinely requires one of these, the path is government-licensed procurement through your institution's authorised supplier — not private retail. We will not be that supplier.

3 · The "we'll check anyway" clause

If you ask us to source a banned item, we will say no — politely once, then firmly if asked again. We will not pretend the request didn't happen, and we will not introduce you to a seller who will. This is not a posture; it's a hard rule that protects every other buyer in our customer base.

4 · The hardware-vs-marketing-copy distinction

Some items in this list are hardware-banned (signal jammers — the device itself is illegal). Others are marketing-banned (keystroke injectors with "credential theft" copy — same hardware as our legitimate Rubber Ducky-class injectors, but the copy frames an illegal use case). We make this distinction on purpose. We sell the hardware where the use case is lawful and the marketing is honest. We do not sell the same hardware where the marketing has crossed the line.
